Please note that our schedule represents assigned classes and instructors, and at times we may have a subdue to unforeseen circumstances and personal time substitutes may be used in place of the noted instructor. We do not always have enough notice to post when this occurs and ask that you bear with us when changes to the schedule are made on a short term basis.
TKO: In this full body workout routine will incorporate transitional periods of a variety of workout techniques; including isolation, abs, sculpting, toning, balance, and cardio. James and Alicia team up to bring aerobic classes to the next level, so you get a new class every time! Bring water with you and be prepared for a great workout!
“Body Bar” Fitness: The focus of this class is muscle endurance, strength, and overall toning by targeting several groups using a series of exercises such as squats, lunges, bench press, and dead lifts. Exercises are completed with a weighted bar and sometimes employ steps for an additional workout. Class is geared towards everyone with modifications shown. Bring a towel to wipe your sweat off and water to stay hydrated!
Body Sculpt: A total body workout to sculpt out those muscles you never knew you had. Learn a variety of exercises designed to trigger each muscle to its highest potential. Use a combination of balance balls, weights, mats, and steps to make sure each muscle has its own moment of glory!
Dance Fitness: an hour of designed choreography to the popular music of today; incorporating burlesque flair, modern music, and a great fitness pump! Bring a towel for some serious sweat and prepare to get your sexy on!
Group Cycling: a group exercise class performed on stationary bikes. During the class, the instructor simulates hill-climbing, sprints, and races. It is truly a fantastic cardiovascular workout. You will be kept motivated by the instructor, the people around you and the music. Get prepared for the workout of your life! Please follow all directions of the instructor for safety reasons and bring water!
H.I.I.T.: “High Intensity Interval Training,” while the name is a new trend, the workout theory has been the foundation of effective workouts for decades- and this class is sure to build a sweat. While the entire class will stimulate cardio from head to toe, the high intensity anaerobic activity will tighten and tone all that’s in between! Popular Body By Design personal trainer James Dadi will guide you through an ever changing workout!
SilverSneakers®: A seated conditioning class that improves balance, posture, agility, and coordination. (This class is tailored for seniors.)
Pilates Yoga Blend: A fusion class of Pilates and Yoga for improving flexibility, strength, & stamina. Includes conditioning to tone and strengthen muscles, especially the core. The Pilates aspect uses lightweights, small ball and the Swiss ball.
Boot Camp: Led by one of Body by Design personal trainers. High intensity activity full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper & lower body, specifically designed to “make it rain” sweat! From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, exercise bands, or even the participant’s body weight, each class brings its own unique challenges.
Tai Chi & Qigong: This class will stimulate your core strength with structured breathing techniques and gentle movement. These techniques will help center your mind and body while releasing stress, boosting your immune system, and building strength and balance. This class is suitable for all attendees, including seniors. Please wear loose fitting attire for ease of movement and bring plenty of water to detox! “If you want to be healthy and live to 100, do Qigong.” - Dr. Mehmet Oz
Yoga: Balancing mind, body, and spirit in 60 minutes of flexibility, strength, balance, and detoxification. This class is not a classic slow-moving yoga. The Vinyasa Flow asanas (positions) will keep you moving throughout the class and the continual change from one asana to another will build a sweat. Carol offers a variety of modifications to offer a workout to both the beginner and the master. You do not have to be flexible to try this class!
Recovery Yoga: is a less intense version of Carol’s original, good for recovery from intense training and beginner enthusiasts!
Zumba®: Enjoy a fusion of Latin & International music with routines that feature a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It targets areas such as glutes, legs, arms, abdominals, and the most important muscle in the body, the heart. With easy to follow dance steps, you don’t have to know how to dance to do Zumba, you just party!
Zumba Gold® – Zumba Gold takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle or the active older adult.
Zumba Toning®: This class is a fun fusion of body-sculpting techniques and Zumba style moves into one calorie-burning, strength-training class. Includes weights and toning sticks to enhance rhythm and build strength.
Cycle Sculpt: Fat burning cardio segments with intervals from weights/ground work and cycling.
Chair Yoga: is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support. It is in the process of being recognized formally as a type of yoga distinct from other types.
