Class Descriptions
Body Sculpt - A total body workout to sculpt out those muscles you never knew you had. Learn a variety of exercises designed to trigger each muscle to its highest potential. Use a combination of balance balls, weights, mats, and steps to make sure each muscle has its own moment of glory!
Cardio Sculpt - A total body workout that incorporates cardio & sculpting moves. Body weight exercises plus weights and mat work. Leave sweaty & strong!
Chair Yoga - is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. It is in the process of being recognized formally as a type of yoga distinct from other types.
Dance Fitness (only in August) - an hour of designed choreography to the popular music of today; incorporating burlesque flair, modern music, and a great fitness pump! Bring a towel for some serious sweat and prepare to get your sexy on!
Functional Strength Training - focuses on training the body for activities performed in daily life, sports, or specific tasks. Compound exercises or multiple muscle groups and exercises that improve balance and coordination + mobility.
H.I.I.T. - “High Intensity Interval Training,” while the name is a new trend, the workout theory has been the foundation of effective workouts for decades- and this class is sure to build a sweat. While the entire class will stimulate cardio from head to toe, the high intensity anaerobic activity will tighten and tone all that’s in between! Popular Body By Design personal trainer James Dadi will guide you through an ever changing workout!
Pilates - a mind-body exercise that requires core stability, strength, and flexibility, and attention to muscle control, posture, and breathing.
Pilates Strength - Our Emphasis is on technique, control, posture, balance, and core muscles. Various equipment is used so that your workout is fresh and exciting each class. The first half of the class we do all our standing exercises and the second half we are usually on the mat. Sometimes I may surprise you by using a chair to make the workout challenging in a different way. By using Pilates, ballet, and yoga movements in our class you will get a great variety which is exactly what your body needs. Modifications are always encouraged when needed.
SilverSneakers® - A seated conditioning class that improves balance, posture, agility, and coordination. This class is tailored for individuals who enjoy, or require, a low impact yet super effective workout! (NOTE: Silver Sneakers Classic & Silver Sneakers Classic #2 are the SAME class - just 2 different times to accommodate our members!)
TKO - In this full body workout routine will incorporate transitional periods of a variety of workout techniques; including isolation, abs, sculpting, toning, balance, and cardio. James and Rich team up to bring aerobic classes to the next level, so you get a new class every time! Bring water with you and be prepared for a great workout!
Vinyasa Yoga - a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Fluid, smooth movements. Not to be confused with “Power Yoga”
Yoga - a mind and body practice that can build strength and flexibility. It may also help manage pain and reduce stress. Various styles of yoga combine physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation
Zumba® - Enjoy a fusion of Latin & International music with routines that feature a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It targets areas such as glutes, legs, arms, abdominals, and the most important muscle in the body, the heart. With easy-to-follow dance steps, you don’t have to know how to dance to do Zumba, you just party!
Zumba Gold® - Zumba Gold takes the Zumba formula and infuses modifications for an enjoyable and fun Zumba experience for all fitness levels! Whether it is your first class or your millionth, join the party and have fun while dancing up a sweat!
Zumba Toning® - This class is a fun fusion of body-sculpting techniques and Zumba style moves into one calorie-burning, strength-training class. Includes weights and toning sticks to enhance rhythm and build strength.

AMPD Fusion® - Strength training w/kettlebells, resistance bands, and weighted bars choreographed to amazing music.
POUND® - Full body cardio jam session inspired by the infectious sweat dripping, energizing fun of playing the drums.
Tai Chi - This class will stimulate your core strength with structured breathing techniques and gentle movement. These techniques will help center your mind and body while releasing stress, boosting your immune system, and building strength and balance. This class is suitable for all attendees, including seniors. Please wear loose-fitting attire for ease of movement and bring plenty of water to detox!
